KDBF Ventures, LLC. (Etain, LLC.) renovated their current business in Chestertown as well as expanded with an 18,000 square foot facility to manufacture medical cannabis and a 42,000 square foot greenhouse.

The total project cost was estimated at $1,878,000, and the WWIDA provided sales tax exemption of up to $7,000, mortgage tax exemption of $68,750, and a partial real property tax abatement through a PILOT Agreement at an estimated value of $458,030 during the 10-year term to help facilitate this expansion. During this expansion, they reported 17 construction jobs in 2022.
