Adirondack Winery, LLC.’s expansion of their business in Queensbury included an 11,000 square foot additional facility, including a 50’ x 30’ covered pad and a 60’ x 30’ open pad to be used for the manufacture of wine and tasting room space.
The total project cost was estimated at $1,878,000, and the WWIDA provided sales tax exemption of up to $46,900, mortgage tax exemption of $10,175, and a partial real property tax abatement through a PILOT Agreement at an estimated value of $232,517 during the 10-year term to help facilitate this expansion.
Prior to this expansion, they had 10 full-time and two part-time employees. They reported 17 full-time jobs, 6 part-time jobs, and 13 seasonal jobs in 2022.
