Ray Terminals, LLC. (Ray Energy) constructed a wholesale distribution terminal in Hampton that is served by truck and rail. They supply retail propane distributors in Warren and Washington Counties as well as portions of Essex County and Southern Vermont.
The total project cost was estimated at $3,855,000, and the WWIDA provided sales tax exemption of up to $196,000, mortgage tax exemption of $42,240, and a partial real property tax abatement through a PILOT Agreement at an estimated value of $323,206 during the 10-year term to help facilitate this expansion.
As this was a new business to the area, employee count started at zero and reported 6 full-time jobs and 1 seasonal job in 2022.
