The Patti Company (Morris Products, Inc.) started their project in 2000, constructing a 10,000 square foot building for use as an office and warehousing operation for the distribution of electrical construction equipment located in the Carey Industrial Park in Queensbury. Their growing business prompted expansions that created a multi-phase project, with their most current phase consisting of an additional 30,300 square foot building added to their existing 30,600 square foot facility where more than 8,000 electrical and lighting products are distributed across the country.
The total project cost of the current expansion was estimated at $1,140,000, and the WWIDA provided sales tax exemption of up to $44,000, mortgage tax exemption of up to $12,500, and a partial real property tax abatement through a PILOT Agreement at an estimated value of $174,027 during this 10-year term to help facilitate this expansion.
As this was new construction in 2000, employee count started at zero and reported 51 full-time and 3 part-time jobs in 2022.
