Fort William Henry Corporation

Fort William Henry Corporation has renovated their Carriage House and outside wedding ceremony area in Lake George Village, as well as creating a 3-season porch to wrap around the White Lion Room and Tankard Tavern and expanding their kitchen to allow a year-round full-service restaurant.

The total project cost was estimated at $6,458,150, and the WWIDA provided sales tax exemption of up to $231,000, mortgage tax exemption of $65,000, and a partial real property tax abatement through a PILOT Agreement at an estimated value of $458,030 during the 10-year term to help facilitate this expansion.

Construction ended in 2023, and they reported 60 construction jobs in 2022.
